Being trained in Eastern Europe, Pavel obtained BA degree in Sculpture (1999) and PhD degree in Art Theory (2005) from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. In 2006–2008 he took postgraduate courses in Theory of Contemporary Art and Curatorship in Canadian universities Concordia (Montreal) and York (Toronto). Since 2001, Pavel organizes art-projects in Belarus and abroad. He was a member of the curatorial team of the Pavilion of the Republic of Belarus at the 54th Venice Biennale. Currently, he is writing professionally for Belarusian and Russian art journals, such as “NoMI” (St. Petersburg), “Art” (Minsk), and “DI” (Moscow). Pavel Voinitski is a Professor of Architectural Design Department at Architectural Faculty of Belarusian National Technical University.
