Alexander Demidov was born in Minsk in 1965.
Education:
- Minsk Art College named after A. Glebov (1984),
- Belarussian State Academy of Arts (1995).
Member of the Belarusian Union of Artists since 1996.
Participates the exhibitions since 1992.
His first solo exhibition was held in "Kovcheg" gallery in 1994.
Since the beginning of the 90-s, Alexander Demidov’ canvases were shown in the galleries of Belarus, Lithuania, Russia, Holland, France, England, Belgium, Germany, USA etc.
His works are in the collections of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the National Center of Contemporary Arts of the Republic of Belarus, collection of Raiffeisen Bank (Russia), collection of Priorbank (Belarus), the galleries of Belarus and Lithuania, as well as in the private collections of Germany, France, Great Britain, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Lithuania, Cyprus and the USA.
